It depends on the driver. You have to realize that all of these Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, etc. Drivers are all from different component manufacturers. For the one offs that don't natively supper silent install, I get pretty lucky extracting the contents of the.exe using 7zip. Not every.exe will extract any usable data, but the majority will. Generally any software installs are don't inside those packages without any input from you. By packages I mean Google mfr sccm driver package. Each model is nicely bundled for you. It is bloated. Let you spend time with the big pieces and you can later revisit this when you have time.
